The Cincinnati Steel Treating Company is a full service, fast and efficient source for your heat treating needs. And while gear hardening is a CST specialty, this technically demanding approach is applied to a wide range of parts for all industries. A full line of facilities for atmosphere carburizing and hardening, press quenching, flame hardening, and induction hardening are available. Capabilities extend to gas nitriding, carbonitriding, ferritic nitrocarburizing, and neutral salt bath hardening, aluminum processing, the hardening of tool steels, stainless steels and high temperature alloys, as well as sub-zero treating. Normalizing, annealing and stress relieving are processed daily. Hand press straightening, blast cleaning via. cabinet, tumble, table and room equipment, magnetic particle and dye penetrant inspection, microhardness testing, metallographic analysis, metallurgical consultation, plus free local pick up and delivery, round out CST’s services.
